Hey there, flute players! š¶
Here's a fun new concept for all you aspiring musicians out there. One of the most common challenges for beginners is playing fun melodies in their original key, which can sometimes be tricky. Thatās why Iāve created a short video series where I show you how to play popular melodies in two ways: first in the original key, and then in a much easier keyĀ thatās perfect for beginners! š
Todayās melody is one I know many of you will loveāthe Bluey Theme Song!Ā š¾ Weāll go through the original key, then follow it up with a version thatās simpler to play, both in range and note difficulty. And, to make sure youāre confident in playing, Iāve also included a slowed-down practice version!

Why Two Versions?
Songs can be written in many different keysā12 keys, in fact!Ā Some keys can be more challenging to play, especially for beginners, because they involve more accidentals or difficult fingerings. In this tutorial, Iāve included the original keyĀ for those of you who want to play along with the song just like itās written. But Iāve also created a transposed, easier versionĀ thatās perfect for beginner-level players!
For those just starting out on flute, the original key of a song can sometimes be tricky due to its range or tough accidentals. The easy keyĀ version simplifies things, so you can focus on enjoying the music while building your skillsāwithout getting stuck on the hard fingerings. Start by playing along with the slowed-down practice version, then work your way up to playing the original!
